Hans has been a lawyer for over 35 years. He was one of the founders of RWV advocaten in Leiden where he worked until 1 July 2016. Since then, Hans has been associated with Groenendijk en Kloppenburg Advocaten where he still has his practice.
Hans operates in the real estate and environmental law sectors. His cases are all related to real estate, from tenancy law, neighbour law and delivery problems to environmental permits and enforcement issues. With his many years of experience, Hans is ideally positioned to provide clients with appropriate advice on managing a dispute.
Hans has a reputation for his ability to make connections which enables him to bring parties together and reach settlements, either through consultation or by Mediation. Hehas been an official Mediator for several years.
Besides his work as a lawyer, Hans is also chairman of several arbitration boards at the Disputes Committee in The Hague and binding advisor in Focwa-Nivre disputes in the bodywork industry.
Hans has long experience as a board member of associations and foundations. Since 2015, Hans has been the secretary of the Noordwijk-based Engelandvaarders museum. With regard to work for charitable organisations and fellowship, Hans has been a member of Rotary Noordwijk and surroundings for 28 years. He lives in Noordwijk, is married, and has three adult, sporty children and recently a gorgeous grandson.
