Mieke den Hollander has more than 25 years of experience as an labour lawyer. Mieke assists employees in individual cases, who have an employment conflict or face dismissal. Mieke can support and guide you through an employment conflict. This can prevent dismissal. Mieke can also negotiate a good severance package for you when you are no longer comfortable with the continuation of the employment contract. Mieke can also help you with dismissal cases and with her years of litigation experience she can provide a good defence in court or negotiate a sound settlement agreement for you.
Mieke also assists employers and employees when conflicts have arisen in the workplace.
With her years of experience in mediating labour conflicts, Mieke can help parties and prevent an employee's long-term illness or escalation of a conflict. Mieke then often speaks with both parties separately first. She does this extensively to get a good understanding of the interests and pain points before joint consultation takes place. Also, depending on the level of escalation, Mieke can immediately start consultations between the parties to reach a solution to the dispute.
Divorce or ending a cohabitation relationship is one of the most difficult things that can happen to you. In divorce cases that go through the courts, Mieke assists you with her years of litigation experience and guides and supports you as best she can throughout this process. Mieke is very experienced in difficult access arrangements and changes in custody.
If you and your partner decide to divorce or separate as cohabitants and you would like to do so without a judge, Mieke will guide you and your partner to arrange the important matters for you and your children in a good way. Mieke records the arrangements in a covenant and/or parenting plan.

Mieke den Hollander has registered the following areas of law in the register of areas of law of the Dutch Bar Association: Labour Law and Family Law. This registration requires her to obtain ten training points in each registered area of law each calendar year according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
