Cassation (Supreme Court)

Cassation proceedings take place before the highest (civil) court in the Netherlands, the Supreme Court. In cassation, the Supreme Court reviews decisions of lower courts (usually courts of appeal). Cassation must be filed in a timely manner and on the correct grounds. Not all cases are suitable for cassation.

As evidenced by our extensive track record, Groenendijk & Kloppenburg Advocaten has an experienced cassation practice in the field of civil law and law and family law for both businesses and private individuals.

Groenendijk & Kloppenburg also handles civil cassation cases on legal aid basis.
